LEOHL Team : U Need A Plumber
The LEOHL executive believes the health and safety of all our players to be paramount and considers the risk of exposure to the novel corona virus during our League games at this time to be too high.

Consequently, we have postponed the start of the season, and will monitor current events and listen to the expert opinions with an eye to possibly starting the season in January, if events allow.

Players who submitted a completed application and post-dated check to Don Dixon may contact him to confirm the disposition of the checks.

Check with your respective team captain if you have any other questions. Fibrenew players should contact Gord Ritchie.

Check the website (https://www.leohl.ca/ ) for any contact information and subsequent updates.

City Of London To Reopen Recreation Facilities For Fall

Argyle Arena will be reopening for private/adult ice rentals commencing Oct. 19, under guidelines provided by the City for the safe use of the facilities. The LEOHL executive cannot begin planning a 2020-2021 season until we see a contract and a copy of their protocols for "Return to Play". Check this space regularly for further updates.

Hey Exec, here'smy idea - lets take the first week or two weeks of next season to complete the 19-20 season. maybe a 1v4,/2v3/5v8/6v7/ semi and then championship/3rd place games the next week. Or even just 1v2 and 5v6 for the A and B championship if we don't want to use 2 weeks. Anyone else like the idea?

LEOHL Team : Red
Well here it is Saturday evening and the Red team has pulled it off. We started a winning streak 3 weeks ago in the playoffs and went undefeated. And then wait for it wait for it we win again 1 nothing. So we will have to wait for our prizes as the party has been cancelled. Oh well it's Beer O'clock. time to move on.
Thanks for a great season Dan and the rest of my Peeps. Have a great summer, stay healthy, and keep your stick on the ice. Only a few days late for April Fools Day !!!!!!!!!!

As we are all aware the COVID-19 virus is putting a halt on all sports.
LEOHL play will be cancelled for the rest of the season. This includes the rest of the playoffs, the finals, and the banquet. Stay tuned for more information.

There were 2 hockey sticks left in Dr. Rm. 3 after last Sunday's games. If the owner(s) would like to reclaim their twigs, they should check with Jim Rae (jim.rae@citi.com).

The teams have been drafted. Your Captain should contact you soon. We have 5 rookie players this year. When you pull your gear out of your vehicle, put your ego and attitude in its place, this is a fun league with a variety of age, skill and ability.

Have Fun.

Thanks to all those people that make our Hockey League what it is, and what it stands for. The well organized end of season playoffs and party and so many teams players showing up, even though they are not in the final games, still show up to watch the games and talk about everything hockey. I have been in the league since about 1977 and I have sooooo much fun every week. Sometimes, ok more often my plus -minus is on the very bad side. My team mates have always been wonderful people and do their best with me as a liability. Sometimes I need a lot of direction. Oh so many things to remember. Wow what a streak we CCD have had. Two wins all year and finish it off with a 4 game win streak in the playoffs. Thank you so much for all the CCD players to make that happen. Best wishes for a great summer and to those going to Nashville, have a great time, and do well.

I found a brown shower towel in dressing room 3 after our game at 10 last night. A teammate said he was one of the first in the room and saw it there before our game, so likely it was left by another team player. Let me know if
the towel is yours and I will bring it next Sun.
